主要研究方向及成果：

致力于以光驱合成生物学技术驱动海洋生物活性物质与生物制品产业升级。（1）海洋微藻生物代谢路径解析与精准调控；（2）以海洋微藻为底盘的合成生物技术开发；（3）海洋生物制品创制及创新应用。迄今在Journal of the American Chemical Society、Nature Communications（2）、Advanced Science（2）、Trends in Microbiology、Trends in Plant Science（2）等国际主流刊物发表论文40余篇。

先后主持国家重点研发计划政府间合作重点项目、合成生物学重点专项课题、面上项目、地区项目、青年项目、国家海洋经济产业链协同创新重点项目、海南省重点研发计划项目、面上项目、高层次人才项目等十余项科研项目。成果获海南省科技进步奖二等奖、海南省教学成果一等奖，获得宝钢优秀教师奖、海南省优秀研究生导师、海南省优秀研究生导师团队负责人等称号。担任国际应用藻类学会执行委员、中国藻业协会理事、中国海洋与湖泊学会海洋生物技术分委会常务委员与中国微生物学会自养微生物专业委员会委员。

Prof. Dr. Yandu Lu:

Research Interests:

Dr. Yandu Lu is a Professor and of Deputy Dean School of Marine Biology and Fisheries, Hainan University and Director of Hainan Provincial Engineering Research Center for Marine Bioactive & Bioproducts. His long-term goal is to design and develop artificial photosynthetic cells using microalgae as chassis to produce both native and non-native natural products at commercial scales. Throughout his research career, functional genomics and trait optimization of microalgae have been the underlying theme. He works on microalgae, but the general concepts and many of the mechanisms are common to all parts of the tree of life. Over the years, his work is dedicated to driving the upgrading of the marine bioactive substance and bioproduct industries through light-driven synthetic biology technologies. His research focuses on: (1) elucidation and precise regulation of metabolic pathways in marine microalgae; (2) development of synthetic biology technologies using marine microalgae as chassis; and (3) creation and innovative application of marine bioproducts.

To date, he has published more than 40 papers in internationally renowned journals, including the Journal of the American Chemical Society, Nature Communications, Advanced Science, Trends in Microbiology, and Trends in Plant Science. He has led more than ten research projects, including the Key Intergovernmental Cooperation Project of the National Key R&D Program, the Synthetic Biology Key Special Project, the General Program, the Regional Program, the Youth Program, the National Marine Economic Industrial Chain Collaborative Innovation Key Project, the Hainan Provincial Key R&D Program, the General Program, and the High-level Talent Program.
